Charles “Wick” Johnson

Charles "Wick" JohnsonCharles “Wick” Johnson is a well-known and respected member of the Augusta business community and owner of Kennebec Technologies since 1984. His award-winning manufacturing company specializes in high-precision components for aerospace, defense, alternative energy, medical, semiconductor, and telecom applications. Kennebec Technologies employs more than 65 workers in its 20,000 square foot facility.

Wick has been involved in a number of civic organizations including the Augusta Board of Trade, The Augusta Good Government Committee and The Universalist Unitarian Committee Church. He also served ten years on the University of Maine System Board of Trustees, including three as its chair.

As a business owner, Wick believes values matter. He is an active participant in state and local education and economic development issues and passionate about Maine because he thinks individuals can make a difference, especially if they hold a vision for the change they want to create.

Wick lives in Augusta with his wife Ruth.
